Add credit to a customer

Adds store credit to a customer. The API can only record credits; debits are created when the credit is used to pay a reservation.

Side effect. The customer's credit balance (car_rental_balance on the contact) is recalculated from all of their transactions, converted to your default currency.

Known limitation. date is required but is not stored, so the new transaction has no valid date and data.date is null in the response.
