Set a reservation to pending

Moves a reservation from open, quote, pending-reserved, cancelled, cancelled-paid, no-show or no-show-paid to pending. Any other status (for example rental, completed or pending) returns a business error.

Side effects

Cancels the reservation's payment transactions still in progress at the payment gateway.

Clears reserved_until.

Moves the linked package reservation, if any, to pending when it is a quote or open.

Detaches the assigned vehicle.

Fires the car_rental_reservation_on_pending and car_rental_reservation_status_updated webhooks.

Returns data.reservation, the updated reservation record.

The reservation is now pending, or a business error with success: false when the current status does not allow it. HTTP 200 is also used for failures: always check success. When it is false, the body is an ErrorBusinessRule (status_code 410) or an ErrorUnauthorized (status_code 401 or 403).
