Set a reservation to quote

Moves a reservation from open, pending, cancelled, cancelled-paid, no-show or no-show-paid to quote. Any other status (for example rental, completed, pending-reserved or quote) returns a business error.

Limited to 30 requests per minute per API user. Above that the API answers HTTP 429.

Side effects

Clears no_show_fee and cancellation_fee.

Detaches the assigned vehicle.

Moves the linked package reservation, if any, back to quote.

Fires the car_rental_reservation_on_quote and car_rental_reservation_status_updated webhooks.

Returns data.reservation, the updated reservation record.

The reservation is now quote, or a business error with success: false when the current status does not allow it. HTTP 200 is also used for failures: always check success. When it is false, the body is an ErrorBusinessRule (status_code 410) or an ErrorUnauthorized (status_code 401 or 403).
